Red Flag Warning
“Red Flag Warning issued October 17 at 7:51PM CDT until October 17 at 8:00PM CDT by NWS New Orleans LA”
...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ENDING THIS EVENING... .The combination of low relative humidity, gusty northerly winds, and dry fuels led to critical fire weather conditions across the area today. Conditions are expected to improve this evening as winds decrease and relative humidity recovers. Winds are expected to gradually decrease and relative humidity values will recover with the loss of daytime heating this evening, bringing an end to the critical fire weather conditions. However, dry fuels will remain in place, so outdoor burning is still discouraged.
