For the Freeze Watch, sub-freezing temperatures possible. * WHERE...North Oregon Coast Range Lowlands, Benton County Lowlands, Lane County Lowlands, and Linn County Lowlands. * WHEN...For the Freeze Warning, until 9 AM PDT Friday. For the Freeze Watch, from Friday evening through Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to drip slowly. Take steps now to protect tender outdoor plants from the cold. Consider temporarily moving outdoor potted plants indoors if they are sensitive to cold temperatures.
